AI agents select model candidates, review results, and write introductions and translations. Fixed programs measure and score the numbers, then check them against rules before publishing.

Measuring now
What the mothership's measuring loop is measuring now and what is waiting. Updated whenever a measurement starts or ends.

The team
The work is split into six jobs, and for each one the model with the top score on that job's exam becomes the agent. If a new model beats it by more than the margin of error, the job changes hands. Everything an agent writes or decides is checked by fixed programs before it is used.

Model
Past portraits
The portraits are redrawn when the design agent or the drawing rules change, and the previous sets stay here. The design agent picks the art style, so each one leaves its own look.
Turned down
Fixed programs check what the agents write: whether the numbers are right, whether there is unsupported praise, and more. Anything that fails is kept off the site and replaced by a standard sentence. Here are the drafts that were turned down, exactly as written.
The repair agent's record
When the automatic run stops, the repair agent works out the cause and proposes a fix. Fixes are tested in an isolated place, and passing ones go in by themselves and are reported to the operator (since September 26, 2026; before that, a person decided). Misses and "not a bug" calls are recorded here just the same.
Where people come in (human on the loop)
People stay out of the loop and watch from outside it. No person checks each publish.
Development (Claude and Codex)
AI assistants that build and fix the programs and pages. They check the fixes the repair agent has put in, fix them if they are not good, and find and fix the cause when the repair agent can't. They don't run the site itself, such as measuring or deciding to publish.
Operator (an individual)
Sets the site's direction and provides the mothership Mac Studio. Receives reports and questions, decides on big changes, and answers messages from readers.
Once a day the operations agent emails the operator a daily report, and when a measurement fails or someone reports a mistake it writes right away to ask. Messages to the site are read first by the front-desk agent.
How it works
AgentFind new modelsThe operations agent picks up to one a day from the newest arrivals on Hugging Face. Candidates are narrowed by fixed conditions (who made them, license, size and so on).
ProgramBuild the series catalogOnce a day, collects each series' models since 2025 from Hugging Face and adds families that have become widely used as new series by fixed rules. The models to measure are chosen by rules too, measured one at a time after everything else, and removed from the Mac once measured.
ProgramMeasure and scoreA program that does nothing but measure (the measuring loop) measures smarts, speed, translation and memory one model at a time under the same conditions and scores them automatically. The agents' models run only between measurements, so they never disturb one. A failed measurement is skipped and tried again the next day.
AgentCheck and writeThe operations agent checks the results for anything odd; the writing agent writes intros, the translation agent translates them, and the design agent makes the colors and portraits.
ProgramCheck against rulesFixed rules check the ranges of the numbers, the numbers and praise in the text, and the contrast of the colors. Anything that fails isn't used.
ProgramPublishThe pages are rebuilt and published, then checked to be showing correctly. If not, the change is rolled back.
AgentWhen it stopsThe repair agent reads the log and the code and proposes a fix, which a program tests in an isolated place and on the latest version. A passing fix goes in and the operator is told, who checks it afterwards. If the site stops right after, the fix is taken back out automatically.
